This forum is for Handcoded HTML and CSS only. Questions related to WYSIWYG editors (like Dreamweaver or, worst, Frontpage) are not supported. Script kiddie questions also not supported (that's when you cut and paste code from somewhere and have no idea what it is or how it works.)

In general, we do not support normal Windows questions from standard users. This forum is meant only as a technical resource for system admins and other advanced users. We do not want to help anyone with normal windows problems, use Linux or OSX if you are tired of Windows.

Information about various open source and free software projects. For standard commercial consumer applications post in the Consumer Software forum. If the software is released under the GPL or a similar license, this is the right forum for it.

Post your general software questions here. This forum is for commercial products, or freeware/shareware but not open sourced products. Please include as much relevant information as you can in your question, that makes it easier to answer. Topics include email client setup, antivirus, mulitmedia processing (photoshop, fireworks, etc).

General computer related questions, make sure to include the following information in your post

• What Operating System are you using (Windows 98, XP, Mac OS X, etc)
• What software product, and version are you using (for example: Internet Explorer 5.5, Norton antivirus 2002)
• Basic computer hardware information, if you know it (ie: 20 gigabyte harddive, 500 megahertz processr)

We need somewhere to put things that are so random that they can't be placed anywhere else, this is it for the time being. Some call it foo, we call it what it is....
