I came across a looping installer error that held up everything.

This sends you to get the msicuu2.exe package from Microsoft.com

That's the Windows Installer CleanUp Utility

It will show you, once you download it and run it, a list of all packages controlled by windows installer. You can remove any one you want, but whatever you do, do not remove anything you don't need, otherwise you have to reinstall the app so windows knows about it again.
